An epilepsy alarm for children.

The concept:

Children with epilepsy can often be very limited. The parents are often very anxious  and don't want the children to be left unattended.

The result can be the children having to stay home from school trips, not being allowed to go on summer camp or do sports in their free time.

To help the parents feel more secure about their children's safety and to help the children gain more freedom to do all these things we have developed SARITA BEA. 
It should be carried in a pocket on the child's undershirt and will react when it can feel the child getting a seizure. It will inform the bystanders on how to react and help the child. At the same time it will send an alert to a contact person (for example a teacher), who can run to the child and help take care of them. The alarm  will track the time of the seizure and automatically upload it in the epilepsy app, which is an important part of finding the correct treatment for the diagnosed children.
