I started working in the fashion industry as a footwear designer in early 2012.
Back then I didn't really think about the effect our industry has on the environment and the workers. Now I am becoming more aware of the negative costs and I can't imagine not working with sustainability and how we can change the industry to the better.

I went back to school in 2016 to expand my knowledge on sustainability within the fashion industry. After graduating with a BA in Sustainable Fashion Design, I have worked with sustainable textiles and the developing of CSR-strategies for Danish fashion companies at Closed Loop.

 

In the future I wish to work with product development and buying, with the aim to be a part of increasing the sustainable focus in the fashion industry along with lowering the industry's environmental and social impact.
