UNITE

A capsule collection based on SDG 16 and the design DNA of Vivienne Westwood taking place in 2030.

My Future Narrative:

I imagine that in 2030 the world will be more seperated and people will be more xenophobic than today. We are seeing the beginning of it today with Brexit, the election of Donald Trump as US's new president, the right-wing parties gaining more ground, people fleeing wars just to meet closed boarders, etc.

As a rebellion to this, I believe we also will see a growing movement of people fighting more extremely for love and peace.

We will fight the wars and hatred with love and open arms. Helping people in need, breaking down walls.

My capsule collection is a uniform for this movement.
Taking its inspiration from classic military uniforms but painted in colors and decorated with symbols for love and peace.
We are ready to fight and we want to be seen, we want more people to join - to unite. We are the Peace Army!

The concept:

When you buy an item from the collection a part of the profit will go to helping children affected by war; children who have lost everything. We want to build homes, schools and hope.

You will also receive a fabric paint in the color of your choice so you can paint whatever statement you think is important.

The clothes will be made of 100% organic hemp, which is a material I am sure will have a huge part of the market share in 2030.
